Poland defense attaché denounces Kerman terror attack, urging confrontation with terrorists
TEHRAN – In a diplomatic meeting with high-ranking officials of the Iranian Army, the Polish Defense Attaché urged accountability for the terrorist incident in Southeastern city of Kerman.
Colonel Slawomir Koltun had a crucial meeting with the Deputy Chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari. During this meeting the Polish defense attaché underscored the need for accountability in the wake of the cruel attack in Kerman.
Colonel Koltun shed light on the global manifestation of terrorism in various forms. He highlighted the impact on ordinary people, who have become victims of missile attacks, bombings, drone strikes, and the ruthless actions of terrorists.
Expressing a somber reality, Colonel Koltun acknowledged that forceful solutions often take precedence over diplomacy and dialogue in such circumstances. He conveyed deep sorrow over the unacceptable act of violence in Kerman, stressing the imperative for the world to resist extremism's control over innocent people’s lives. Consequently, he emphasized the urgent need for accountability for those responsible for such inhumane actions.
In closing, Colonel Koltun expressed his New Year wish for peace, stability, and security for all. He expressed hope to steer clear of confrontations in the days ahead, underlining the importance of fostering a peaceful global environment.
The twin explosions that ripped through Kerman happened on the 4th martyrdom anniversary of Iran’s anti-terror icon Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani. 94 people lost their lives as a result of the blasts and dozens more were injured.
